“For this exhibition, I have selected a series of paintings created between the 1980s and 2010s, revisiting the social scenes of the past and narrating the stories of Hong Kong.
Flashes of inspiration amidst the bustling city skyscrapers...
Struggling grass in the crevices, fighting for survival...
Chasing dreams, butterflies appear and disappear among the flowers...
People experiencing alienation in different eras...
Facing social changes and the passage of time, the powerlessness of human persistence!
With these works, I aim to reveal the phenomena on the surface and the stories behind them, bringing forth my commentary on life and reflections on society and the individual. With the accumulation of life experiences as I grow older, I search for myself in this chaotic and conflicting world.”
