His early oil painting series The Inner World Series was selected for the 11th National Art Fair and multiple National Oil Painting Exhibitions, receiving award for outstanding work and was selected for the Hong Kong Contemporary Art Biennial Award 2009. In 2010, he began his Rainy Season watercolor series - exhibited in many national watercolor exhibitions and won the Excellence Award - works such as Outside the Window and Rainy Season No.1 were acquired by the Chinese Watercolor Art Museum and Shijiazhuang Art Museum respectively. The entire series has entered the collections of Beijing's Prince Gong's Mansion, Dongguan Guancheng Art Museum, and private collectors. As an artist consecutively selected for four editions of the National Fine Arts Exhibition (11th-14th) with two awards, his works continue to attract attention from museums and collectors worldwide.
“I am Chinese,” he explains his creative philosophy, “While my techniques and materials are grounded in Western traditions, my artistic practice remains deeply rooted in the rich soil of Chinese culture. The East-West migration experience has given me a unique perspective on both traditions, revealing their profound connections. Five thousand years of continuous civilization provide an inexhaustible wellspring of inspiration - this profound cultural heritage allows for infinite creative possibilities. In my paintings, I strive to capture the spirit of Chinese culture.”
