Ho Man-Kei

HO Man-Kei has been an analog photography artist since 1990. Born and educated in Hong Kong, he currently lives and works in Taiwan. His photographic art combines a contemporary vision with refined sensibility. Hе specializes in photography including Daguerreotype, Ambrotype (wet plate), Gelatin dry plate photography, and other modern silver-salt type of photography is also used in his creations. As one of Asia’s few top artists who uses Daguerreotype and wet plate photographic creations, he is known as a rigorous and low-profile photographer, and is well known to senior photographers the industry.
