Multiple Art 45 • Celebrating 50 Years of Hongkong Art

Hong Kong Visual Arts Society is hosting the latest exhibition, Multiple Art 45, to celebrate its 50th anniversary of establishment.

Ten HKVAS members have joined to create multiple art pieces for the exhibition. New artworks employed various techniques and media, such as photography, etching, acrylic, ink, digital imaging, and ceramic sculpture, showcasing each artist's ideas and characters. Previous works from four esteemed members of HKVAS, Gaylord Chan, Ha Bik-Chuen, Li Ki-Kwok, and Samuel O, are also displayed in the show.

Exhibited art pieces were reproduced via silkscreen printing or digital printing on different types of paper or hand-painted acrylic paints directly on wood boards. Except for the ceramic sculpture, all new artworks were signed and numbered reproductions of the originals in limited quantities and available for collection. Profits from the sales are to support the practice of visual arts and the sustainable development of arts in Hong Kong in the longer term.
