Dream, solo exhibition of contemporary painter Poon Yeuk-Fai. The exhibition showcase paintings selected from the artist’s My Dream and Blooming Girls series, along with a few recent creations.
The horses in My Dream travel around Victoria Harbour at different times, entangled with contradictions and hopes; sweet girls in Blooming Girls allow us to peep into their inner world.
Poon’s paintings reflect the pursuit of hopes and dreams or evoke the public an examination and exploration of contemporary society.

Poon Yuek Fai was born in Fujian, China in 1963. He studied oil painting at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing from 1988 to 1991. Poon loves to travel around to record the cityscapes with his paintings. He uses greyish colour Tones in his paintings to add visual layers and notes of uniqueness.
